Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is proud to present ICON 2026, its flagship biennial medical conference, introduced through a special video message from Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN.
In his message, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, highlighted the urgent need for resilient and sustainable healthcare systems in Pakistan especially in the face of growing challenges such as climate change, rising healthcare costs, and deepening health inequities. He emphasized that ICON 2026, themed “Resilient Care, Sustainable Futures,” is more than a conference it is a movement toward building a future where care is equitable, ethical, accessible, and delivered with dignity.
Dr. Abdul Bari khan reflected on IHHN’s strategic initiatives, including zero-cost quality care, mobile clinics serving remote populations, and the training of future healthcare leaders all rooted in the principles of dignity, innovation, system strengthening, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
ICON 2026, scheduled for April 10 to 18, 2026, will take place across Karachi, Muzaffargarh, and Lahore, uniting national and international healthcare experts for impactful plenary sessions, scientific discussions, and skill-based workshops.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan invited healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and students to join hands in shaping the future of healthcare in Pakistan one that cannot be built in silos, but through shared learning and collaboration.
