ICON 2026 Partners’ Meetup Unites Pharmaceutical Leaders for a Healthier Future

Indus Hospital & Health Network hosted the ICON 2026 Partners’ Meetup, bringing together leading pharmaceutical companies to explore collaboration opportunities for the upcoming ICON 2026 conference. The event served as a platform to strengthen partnerships, discuss potential synergies, and align on the shared vision of advancing healthcare in Pakistan.

Scheduled for April 10–18, 2026, across Karachi, Muzaffargarh, and Lahore, ICON 2026 is IHHN’s 8th Biennial Conference. With the theme “Resilient Care, Sustainable Future: Bridging Climate Action and Patient-Centered Healthcare,” the conference will address pressing health and environmental challenges while fostering cross-sector collaboration. As one of Pakistan’s largest multidisciplinary healthcare gatherings, ICON attracts over 3,000 national and international healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders.

During the meetup, participants discussed partnership tiers, exhibition opportunities, and collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare awareness and expanding patient services. Attendees also learned about ICON 2026’s rich programme, which will include plenary and scientific sessions, symposia, poster presentations, and a dedicated research supplement in the Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences (PJMS).

The event was attended by Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President, IHHN, and Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi, CEO IHHN,  Dr Ashar Alam Medical Director, along with members of the ICON 2026 Organizing Committee: Dr. Syed Ahmer Hamid (Chair, ICON-2026), Dr. Neelum Mansoor (Secretary),, Dr. Ayesha Saeed (Secretary, Scientific Committee), Dr. Adeel Khatri (Workshop Team Lead), Dr. Maryam Aftab (Chair, Finance Committee), Dr. Talal Ahmed (Secretary, Finance Committee), and Dr. Sajeer Bhura (IT & Finance Committee).

Dr Talal Ahmed host the event and thanked all participants for their interest and commitment, highlighting that strong partnerships with the pharmaceutical sector are essential for delivering quality healthcare and creating sustainable impact nationwide.
