As part of the Pre ICON 2026 activities, the Urinary Catheterization Workshop was organized to enhance participants’ practical skills and understanding of safe and aseptic techniques for urinary catheterization. The session covered both male and female catheterization procedures, along with an introduction to suprapubic catheterization techniques.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Akhtar (Urologist), Dr. Danish Aslam, and Dr. Sana Nawaz, who provided expert guidance throughout the training. A total of 10 participants attended the session, actively engaging in demonstrations and hands-on exercises designed to strengthen procedural accuracy and confidence.
The workshop featured live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions on infection prevention and patient care. Facilitators guided participants through each step of the procedure, emphasizing precision, hygiene, and patient comfort.
Participants remained actively engaged throughout the session and expressed high levels of satisfaction in their feedback, appreciating the workshop’s practical approach and relevance to clinical practice.
