As part of the Pre-CON activities for ICON IHHN, the Clinical Operations department under the Community Health Directorate (CHD) conducted a PDCA Quality Compliance Workshop at the IHHN Bhong Campus, Sadiqabad. The session was designed to enhance the capability of primary care teams to implement the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle as a structured method for improving quality compliance across essential service areas.
A total of 24 participants, representing both clinical and support departments, engaged in multidisciplinary group exercises using pre-provided standards to understand compliance expectations, identify gaps, and conduct service-level compliance assessments within their respective units. Through guided activities and on-ground assessments, teams evaluated current practices, highlighted inconsistencies, and developed PDCA-driven improvement actions tailored to their work areas.
The workshop concluded with group presentations summarizing key findings and actionable recommendations, demonstrating the growing ability of frontline teams to independently lead and sustain quality initiatives.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Mehreen Raza, Manager Clinical Operations, CHD, and Safia Bano, Assistant Manager Clinical Operations, CHD.
This activity reflects IHHN’s continued commitment to elevating the quality of care across diverse geographies and high-demand service settings, ensuring that every facility operates with consistency, safety, and excellence.
