Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) SAM Hospital Campus, Badin, successfully conducted a workshop on “Medication Order Writing, Reading, Interpretation, Administration & Documentation”. The workshop brought together healthcare professionals to enhance their skills in accurate medication management and patient safety.

The session aimed to improve participants’ competencies in key areas of medication handling. By the end of the workshop, participants had strengthened their ability to write accurate medication orders, interpret and administer medications effectively, and maintain precise documentation while ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team.

The workshop was led by an experienced team of healthcare professionals from IHHN Karachi, including Dr. Shazia Kiran, Clinical Lead, OGDCL, MHU, and Specialist Family Medicine, Telehealth Program; Mr. Faheem Ahmed Jhatial, Assistant Manager Pharmacy Services, Community Health Directorate; Mr. Shafique Hussain, Manager, Pharmacy Services, Community Health Directorate; and Ms. Shama Naila, Clinical Nursing Instructor, Community Health.
