Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore successfully conducted another Pre-ICON 2026 workshop titled “Recurrent Infections as a Diagnostic Challenge – Decoding Diagnostic and Management Dilemmas in Immunodeficiency” on January 10, 2026.
The session was led by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Sabiha Anis, Consultant Immunologist-IHHN, Dr. Misbah Zehra, Consultant Emergency Medicine-IHHN, Dr. Abdul Rafay, Consultant Infectious Diseases-IHHN, Dr. Maria Iftikhar, Consultant Pediatrician-IHHN, Dr. Mehjabeen Imam, Consultant Immunologist-PKLI, and Dr. Muhammad Hussain, Consultant Immunologist-CMH.
The purpose of the workshop was to enhance clinicians’ understanding of recognizing recurrent infections, linking infection patterns to immune dysfunction, and applying evidence-based diagnostic and management strategies. Participants also gained valuable insights into diagnostic workups for immunodeficiency disorders and clinical decision-making for timely intervention.
Held as part of the Pre-ICON 2026 series, the workshop reflects IHHN’s commitment to advancing clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes through continuous medical education.
