Precision in Motion: IHHN’s Pre-ICON 2026 Workshop Redefines Primary TKR Training

Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore, hosted a Pre-ICON 2026 workshop titled “From Planning to Execution: Excellence in Primary TKR – Live Surgery & Saw Bone” on January 13, 2026.

The workshop was led by the highly skilled IHHN team, including Prof. Tahseen Riaz, Consultant & Head of Orthopedic Surgery and Course Chairperson, along with Dr. Sheharyar Abid, Course Director, Dr. Muhammad Sultan, Course Secretary, and Dr. Asad Waqar, Course Moderator & Organizer, who facilitated practical learning and clinical discussions throughout the session.

Designed to bridge planning with surgical execution, the workshop provided orthopedic surgeons with hands-on exposure to modern alignment strategies, implant selection, and soft-tissue balancing techniques in primary total knee replacement. Live surgery and saw bone sessions enabled participants to refine bone cuts, alignment accuracy, and gap balancing while avoiding common technical errors that impact long-term outcomes.

Held under the Pre-ICON 2026 banner, this Pre-ICON 2026 workshop highlights IHHN’s continued dedication to advancing orthopedic education and excellence in surgical care, so patients continue to receive quality treatment free of cost.
