Under the banner of Pre-ICON 2026 Sessions, IHHN continues its commitment to advancing medical education with a specialized clinical laboratory workshop titled “Decoding Chromatograms: A Case-Based Approach to HPLC Interpretation.”
Held on February 9, 2026, at Indus Hospital, Jubilee Town, Lahore, the workshop brought together laboratory professionals, clinicians, and researchers. The academic sessions were led by Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed from the University of Health Sciences and Dr. Nada Sikander, Consultant, Clinical Laboratories at IHHN.
Designed to strengthen practical laboratory skills, the workshop provided participants with a structured understanding of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), including system components, working mechanisms, and chromatogram interpretation. Through case-based discussions, attendees refined their ability to analyze retention time, peak area, resolution, and troubleshoot common analytical challenges in clinical settings.
As part of the broader Pre-ICON 2026 educational series, this initiative reflects IHHN’s unwavering dedication to strengthening laboratory sciences and building capacity within Pakistan’s healthcare system—ensuring that patients continue to receive high-quality, evidence-based care completely free of cost
