Dr. John Lantos
Dr. Lantos is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and Director of the Children’s Mercy Hospital Pediatric Bioethics Center. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers, chapters, and ten books, including Neonatal Bioethics, Do We Still Need Doctors, and The Ethics of Shared Decision Making He is a former President of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities and serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Bioethics. He will be presenting his work on Day 1 of ICON 2022 at the Clinical Ethics Session. He will be covering the topic “Aspects of Communication, Policies & Religion - Cultural Factors in Pediatrics.”
