Journalist, researcher, and media trainer with over a decade of experience, Aoun Sahi has a celebrated career in Pakistan and globally. Currently serving as the Executive Producer of PTV News/ PTV World, Aoun Sahi has worked as editor/ bureau chief of 24 News HD, Special Correspondent LA Times, and in various media houses such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph (UK), The Sunday Times, Times of London and Time Magazine amongst others. In 2016, Aoun Sahi shared in the coveted Pulitzer Prize awarded to the LA Times. In 2017, he shared the APME award in the Sally Jacobsen International Perspective category to the LA Times team. In addition, he received the ‘Pride of Journalism’ award from the National Press Club, Islamabad. Aoun Sahi has also been awarded ILO Pakistan’s ‘Excellence in Labour Journalism Award’ for two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014. Additionally, Aoun Sahi has contributed to research studies, think tanks, and education through communication training.
