Azra Naseem possesses over two decades of experience utilizing digital technologies for
education and development in challenging environments. She has collaborated with diverse professionals,
including healthcare providers, educators, journalists, and policymakers. Azra played a pivotal role in
leading Aga Khan University’s transition to online education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and she
currently spearheads AKU’s Digital Learning Strategy. She is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education
Academy and volunteers for Academics Without Borders.Azra’s research focuses on the human-centered design of online and blended learning environments,
incorporating emerging technologies such as AI, data, and analytics. Additionally, she explores digital
transformation strategies in challenging contexts. |
