Building Capacity of Healthcare Providers on WHO Labour Care Guide (LCG) & Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) Using the EMOTIVE Bundle of Care

Learning Objectives:

By attending this workshop, participants will strengthen their ability to:
  • Monitor Labour Progression: Use the WHO Labour Care Guide (LCG) to assess and document labour stages effectively.
  • Apply Labour Care Guide (LCG) in Clinical Scenarios: Practice identifying early warning signs of maternal and fetal distress using the WHO LCG through scenario-based exercises to enhance clarity, decision-making, and timely intervention.
  • Manage PPH: Apply the EMOTIVE bundle of care, including uterine massage, uterotonics, TXA, IV fluids, and re-evaluation and Escalate
  • Demonstrate Emergency Response: Participate in team-based drills for obstetric emergencies.
