ICON 2020

Building Bridges for Better Healthcare

ICON 2020 was aligned with the government’s commitment towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The conference highlighted initiatives by the Indus Hospital & Health Network to address healthcare challenges in Pakistan by bringing together like-minded institutions and individuals. As a result, it paved the way for strategic interventions and innovations by addressing core issues with numerous sessions and workshops. The Network’s philosophy of national and international collaboration to address the health challenges of this region was showcased.

ICON 2018

Redefining Healthcare

January 19-21, 2018 | Karachi
ICON 2018 focused on the research and science supporting early detection, prevention, and treatment of diseases. It offered new ideas on transforming healthcare and improving its delivery to eliminate inequalities in health. There was a series of interactive sessions where the conference stimulated debates and discussions. The workshops and scientific sessions educated and equipped physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals with information, tools, and resources to integrate into clinical and research practice, empowering healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered, quality healthcare to all.

Quality Care- A Right, Not A Privilege

The third biennial conference theme was inspired by Indus Hospital & Health Network’s vision and mission of providing quality, free-of-cost healthcare for all. People from around the world attended the workshops and sessions.
ICON 2016’s success made a lasting impact on the academic and professional paradigm of Pakistan’s health sector and showcased Indus’ achievements in addressing the health challenges of Pakistan through national and international collaboration.

Care Beyond Cure

The second edition of ICON hosted several national and international speakers in various medical fields. The success of the second conference cemented Indus Hospital & Health Network’s commitment to work in the areas of research, public outreach, international collaboration, etc. The rich history of the ICON conferences has impacted healthcare in Pakistan and influenced Indus policies.

ICON 2012

Breaking Barriers in Healthcare

The inaugural ICON conference celebrated the Indus Hospital & Health Network’s success in its philanthropic efforts. In addition to its tireless efforts in providing free-of-cost healthcare for all, the Network’s ventures into the domains of research, public outreach, international collaboration, and a focus on neglected diseases generated widespread acclaim. The inaugural ICON conference highlighted the IHHNs community outreach programs in Landhi, Korangi, and Bin Qasim. More than 120 leading national and international experts from the healthcare sector conducted workshops, practical sessions, and discussion sessions.
