Dr. Ali Akbar
Dr. Ali Akbar specialized in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis from the UK. He has been working in the field for nearly 25 years with research on DNAse in mild lung disease and anti-Pseudomonal salivary antibody response in children with cystic fibrosis. He holds an FRCPCH and FRCP (London) and is an Honorary Visiting Professor of Paediatrics at ICH Lahore. He is also a senior examiner for the MRCPCH and DCH exams. He has spoken at many international conferences. His goal is to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis, improve the standard of care and facilitate the establishment of CF centers in Pakistan.
