Dr. Aamir Qazi, M.D., M.B.B.S., graduated from the Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan, in 2014. He completed his internal medicine residency from the Saint Louis University Hospital in 2018 and an infectious diseases fellowship from Rush University Medical Center in 2020. This was followed by a transplant infectious diseases fellowship at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston with experience in infections of solid organ and bone marrow transplant recipients. He joined the division of infectious diseases at the Indus Hospital in 2021. His main interests are infections in transplant recipients and the immunosuppressed host, antimicrobial stewardship, and invasive fungal infections. His current research projects include assessing the implementation of stewardship recommendations.
