Dr. Ali Madeeh Hashmi is a distinguished psychiatrist, educator, and author. A graduate of King Edward Medical College, Lahore, he furthered his expertise by completing his psychiatry training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. With a rich background in both practice and teaching, he contributed significantly to the field of Psychiatry in the USA over 12 years. Presently, Dr. Hashmi holds the esteemed position of Tenured Professor of Psychiatry at King Edward Medical University and serves as Professor of Psychiatry at Punjab Institute of Mental Health, the largest psychiatric hospital in Pakistan. His leadership experience extends across both the USA and Pakistan. Notably, he served as the Medical Director of the largest community mental health system in the state of Arkansas for a decade and earned multiple teaching awards during his tenure at two medical colleges in the USA. Dr. Hashmi is a prolific author with over 60 internationally indexed publications in national and international scientific journals, in addition to numerous book chapters, all centered around his areas of expertise in psychiatry. |
