Biography: | Dr. Asma Nasim, FCPS Medicine and Infectious Diseases, is an Associate Professor and head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Karachi (SIUT). She is a faculty member of Infectious Diseases at the College of Physician and Surgeons, and is a supervisor for the fellowship program in Infectious Diseases at SIUT. Dr. Asma has done diploma in biomedical ethics from Center of Biomedical Ethics and Culture, SIUT. She is a member of European Ethics Advisory Committee of European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID). Dr. Asma has published papers in reputed medical journals and presented her research work in various international conferences. Her main areas of interest are infections in solid organ transplant, antibiotic stewardship and infection prevention. |
