Dr. Bushra Jamil
Dr. Bushra Jamil is a graduate of Dow Medical College, Karachi. She joined the Department of Microbiology at the Aga Khan University, Hospital, Karachi. She completed her training in Microbiology and did her clinical rotations from UK and AKUH, leading to MRCP. With research interests in sepsis, disease outbreaks, infection prevention, and control and antimicrobial resistance, Dr. Bushra Jamil is one of the country's first practicing Infectious Diseases physicians. Under her dynamic leadership, the CPSP led Infectious Diseases Fellowship, and MMIDSP has achieved many milestones. She is the Professor of Medicine at Aga Khan University, Hospital, Karachi, National Coordinator, CMU of Ministry of National Health Sciences Regulation & Coordination, CMO, Isolation Hospital and Infectious Treatment Centre, Islamabad.
