Dr. Borhany is a part of NIBD’s Bone Marrow Transplantation team and serves as a Haemato-oncologist at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital. She was the first Pakistani recipient of the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (ISTH) Fellowship in Haemostasis and Thrombosis. She received extensive training at the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, University of Milan, Italy. Dr. Borhany has worked at almost all the renowned medical establishments in the country and brings more than two decades’ experience. Furthermore, Dr. Borhany is a passionate researcher with more than 45 distinguished research publications on Haemostasis, Thrombosis, Leukemia, Blood Transfusion, and others published in national and international journals and books. Her research is a synthesis of her involvement in treating patients with Leukaemia, Lymphomas, Multiple Myeloma, Haemophilia, Thalassemia and other areas of Haematology
