He has been associated with the Punjab Healthcare Commission for the last 11 years, in the capacity of Director Clinical Governance and Organizational Sandards. He has pioneered the development of standards with relation o the provision of healthcare service at various types and levels of healthcare establishments operating in Punjab.

A senior health professional with over 40 years of experience in the fields of medicine and public health in both the public and private sector.

Has headed as Director / Team lead a number of Public Health related Foreign Funded Projects of the Govt. of Punjab

Prior to joining the Commission, he served the Health Department Government of Punjab at various managerial and leadership positions.
His last assignment with the Government of Punjab was Additional Secetary (Technical) Health Department.
