Biography: |
Dr. Arumuganathan hails from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and accomplished her medical
school and residency training at West Virginia University. During her time there, she completed the
Global Health Track, served as a Chief Resident, and conducted telestroke research within rural critical
access hospitals. Her rural background and training have laid the groundwork for her work in
low-resource environments. Presently, she is a Penn Global Emergency Medicine Fellow and an Instructor
of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Penn Medicine. Her efforts in Global Emergency Medicine include
developing an emergency medicine curriculum and contributing to the enhancement of emergency care
capacity. |
