Dr. Qasim Ahmed serves as the Head of Pathology and Consultant Pathologist at Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry in Lahore, Pakistan. A graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, he completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Case Western Reserve University Affiliated Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and pursued a Surgical Pathology & Cytopathology Fellowship at the University Hospital of Cleveland. Dr. Ahmed is American Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, as well as Cytopathology. Formerly, he held the position of Director of Cytopathology at the National University Hospital Singapore from 2009 to 2017, where he was also a National Examiner for Pathology, served on the Pathology Residency Program Core Faculty, and was a member of the Program Evaluation Committee. Additionally, he co-directed International Cytopathology Workshops. Dr. Ahmed continues to conduct Cytopathology and Histopathology workshops in Pakistan and is frequently invited as a speaker at national and regional pathology conferences. |
