Dr. Sadaf Altaf is a graduate of Dow Medical College and trained at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA. She joined Aga Khan University Hospital in 2014. She is the program director of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship. She is working on establishing Pediatric bone marrow transplant services at her institution. Her areas of research interest include bone and soft tissue sarcomas. Dr. Altaf is also the co-chair of the SIOP Global Health supportive care working group. Her vision is to engage physicians in low middle-income countries (LMIC) to connect with mentors in high-income countries providing academic support to improve the care of children who have cancer.
