Professor Khalid Masood Gondal
Professor Khalid Masood Gondal Graduated from King Edward Medical College in 1986 and his fellowship in surgery in 1992. Promoted as Professor in 2005 and Chairman Department of Surgery, Professor Gondal currently works as Regular Vice-Chancellor of King Edward Medical University, Lahore. He has been the Councillor of the College of Physicians and Surgeons since 2007. He has been the Regional Director, Director General International Relations, Vice President in 2011, and Senior Vice President of CPSP from 2015 to 2016. He has over 100 research papers published in national and internationally recognized journals and presented 40 research papers on national and international forums. The HEC has nominated him as the focal person for evaluating research in surgery in the country. The President of Pakistan awarded Professor Gondal the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in medical education in 2013 based on his meritorious services, with the Government of Punjab promoting him to Grade 21 in 2015.
