Dr. Shabneez Hussain
Dr. Shabneez Hussain is a well-known hematologist who has expertise in managing hemoglobinopathies and inherited bleeding disorders. She completed her post-graduation from Aga Khan University and Hospital in 2014. She joined Fatimid Foundation as a consultant hematologist in 2015, where she was recently promoted to medical director overlooking ten centers of Fatimid Foundation across Pakistan. She has recently joined the regional blood center, Karachi as a manager & consultant of transfusion medicine. Furthermore, she has 15 peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented her research on many national and international forums. She has also received a grant for training in “point-of-care joint ultrasound in hemophilia” from the University of San Diego, California.
