The Basics of ECG Workshop is a comprehensive educational event aimed at providing participants with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Electrocardiography (ECG). ECG is a vital diagnostic tool used in cardiology to assess the electrical activity of the heart and detect various cardiac conditions including myocardial ischemia.
During this workshop, participants will be introduced to the basic principles of ECG, including the anatomy and physiology of the heart, the electrical conduction system, and the interpretation of ECG waveforms. The workshop will focus on creating a practical and interactive learning environment.
The workshop will begin with an overview of ECG equipment and lead placement, ensuring participants gain a clear understanding of the technical aspects involved in recording an accurate ECG. Following that, participants will dive into the interpretation of ECG tracings, learning how to identify normal sinus rhythm, recognize common cardiac arrhythmias, and understand the significance of various ECG abnormalities.
Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and hands-on practice, participants will develop the skills necessary to confidently interpret ECG readings and differentiate between normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms.

Description:

Emergency obstetric and newborn care (EmONC) is defined as a set of life-saving interventions, that treat the major obstetric and newborn causes of morbidity and mortality. To assess the level of care, these functions are classified as basic EmONC (BEmONC) or comprehensive EmONC (CEmONC) levels of care.
The purpose of our EMOC workshop is to impart knowledge, give updates and built skills of healthcare workers associated with maternal care.
This workshop will include speakers to deliver knowlege in ist half of session.
In second half hands on drills will be conducted in groups to help people interact and thus learn better.
This workshop is suitable for a range of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers who interact with patients.
