of the most common chronic diseases in children and requires comprehensive management for optimal control.
The
management of childhood asthma involves a comprehensive approach that includes medical interventions,
environmental control measures, and patient education. The goal is to achieve and maintain good asthma
control,
minimize symptoms, prevent exacerbations, and optimize the child's overall lung function and quality of
life.
Medical management typically includes the use of asthma medications, such as short-acting beta-agonists
(SABAs)
