Dr. Rizwan Alimohammad, Electrophysiologist, has been Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. He then completed his Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Alimohammad is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Albany Medical Center. He has participated in several devices related clinical research trials and has published articles on various topics in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He specializes in cardiac ablations for Atrial fibrillation, Ventricular tachycardia, Premature Ventricular Contractions ( PVC), and Supraventricular Tachycardia ( SVT ). He also specializes in advanced ablation options for patients with long-standing Persistent Atrial fibrillation collaborating with Cardio-thoracic surgeons.
